Cheap wires and you need your own way to increase recording sound.
Hooked it up. Found out it is not compatible with windows 11. Reset to windows 10. It hooked up and after a minute recording said mic not found. Checked connections on back of sound card. Everything was tight. Contacted seller. They said check connections if that doesn’t work then use Amazon return to get another one. I told them it was either the jack or wire. So they wanted me to spend more than the item cost to return it to get the same thing. I would have been happy if they would have sent me another 49 cent usb wire. I grabbed another jack from another piece of equipment and plugged it in. It stays connected now. You will need YouTube to hook it up. Instructions are not good. The rotating knobs I am pretty sure are just for show because they have to be turned all the way up to record. Sounds good through a headset but not after it recorded. Not going to waste gas to return it. Tech support was non-existent.

Can not get a windows laptop to pick it up. My headphone/mic port is a combined one port and this machine needs a singular mic port. Works fine on IOS, but I was going to use this as a streaming and podcast setup. Seller will not return Buyer Beware

Not worth it
I had a microphone before this one that was around the same price. But when I saw that this one was not only cheaper, but had more with it, I decided to get it when my old mic broke. But there was an issue, this one is way too quiet. To be even the slightest bit coherent, I need to be right up against my microphone, and even then, it’s still not loud enough for my purposes. I tried everything to fix this and nothing worked. The “manual” it comes with is an incoherent mess that you can tell was just ran through google translate, an even the coherent parts didn’t even help me fix my issue. I was hoping that, considering I spent close to $50, I would’ve gotten a microphone that was at least kind of good quality, but instead I got a piece of garbage that I might as well just throw away.DO NOT BUY THIS

Sounds pre programed are useless. Has to be charged. Can be plugged in and turned on but it will cause frequency noise. Parts and fragile plastic and thin metal. Mic only picks up sound from the side. Going directly in the trash.

Easy set up easy take down. Does what it’s supposed to. The only issue I have is the swivel needs major help and doesn’t hold up as a proper swivel. With all the style hinges out there, it should be a simple fix to alter the way the swivel is set up and not completely change the design. Also being able to run the cords through the arm would be a lot better feature.

“Five different voice effects you can adjust” is actually really two and neither sounds realistic nor can you actually adjust them other than volume. I can’t use it for the project I got it for. It does hook up to a computer or phone, but it’s not worth it and you mostly figure it out on your own and you do have to charge it for about six hours before using it, they do let you know that.

At first it was ok. Instructions for set up were non existent but I figured ok, youtube ended up helping me out with that. Volume on the microphone is extremely low even on the highest level. Sound card stopped working in its third use. This product is cheap for a reason..no quality.

Simply does not work, charging port broke
This product is a pile of garbage.Charging for two days did not charge up the device – charging was intermittent at best and the device never held a charge. When attempting to remove the charger, the charging port actually pulled out of the device, stuck to the charging cable. While plugged in, the device generated a frequency hum which ruined all recordings. When unplugged, even after being charged, the device did not send a signal to any plugged in devices (computer or cell phone).Do not buy this. It was a complete and total waste of money.

Can’t Get Mic To Record
I’m not sure if I got faulty equipment or what. It took me a long time to get around to using this equipment. I can’t get any proper volume out of the mic. The sound card doesn’t seem to fully function. I don’t have an analog input. I attached it to the sound card and put that through my laptop, and when I try to record into Audacity I get nothing. Does anyone have suggestions or do I have faulty equipment? Help? Would like to change my rating if I’m using it wrong.

I used it for recording vocals in music, I used to done it by my headphones, but they have a lot of background noises, this entire set up makes my work more professional, but also reasonably cheap. Product is broken and box was damaged
First thing is the box was damaged when I retrieved it from my porch, secondly I Plug in the mic and it’s defective and it pitches unplugged it and tried to see if it was the settings and it wasn’t but second time plugging in the mic it just doesn’t work at all now… very disappointed especially when my cousin does music and it was supposed to be his Christmas gift! I want a refund or a new mic sent to us! Very frustrating start before Christmas.

The V8 is very low end and all it serves is too frustrate the user. The BM-800 mic needs to be powered with phantom power or a board that has a quality pre-amp in order to function properly. The V8 does not have a pre-amp or if it does it is very under performing. Going to attempt to get a refund if I can find the box for the kit.

Don’t waste your money
Sounds pre programed are useless. Has to be charged. Can be plugged in and turned on but it will cause frequency noise. Parts and fragile plastic and thin metal. Mic only picks up sound from the side. Going directly in the trash.

Some of the pieces that were adjustable were not the bolts were stripped that adjusted the Mike made of cheap plastic .had to use a SS bolt to replace Mike stand is a piece of junk

Good start
Good start but if you are serious you will need to upgrade. For whatever reason the sound on the mic isn’t that great. I literally have to speak loud for it to give good sound on my recordings.

Microphone Works, but…
The soundcard, though the paperwork says it works, does not. The microphone works without the options available on the “sound mixer”. Good quality sound as is.

Works great. Does what it’s supposed to.
Easy set up easy take down. Does what it’s supposed to. The only issue I have is the swivel needs major help and doesn’t hold up as a proper swivel. With all the style hinges out there, it should be a simple fix to alter the way the swivel is set up and not completely change the design. Also being able to run the cords through the arm would be a lot better feature.

Sound is not loud enuf

So I love that is has the sound board but the only thing is you can’t hear the sound vary well. It’s bluetooth capable so that is super nice. But still the sound is awful I have tried several pairs of ear buds head phones nothing seems to help

Hard to get an app. Have to be right near the microphone to get any sound so any other noise in the background won’t be picked up sonthats a plus

Terrible. Skip this item.
“Five different voice effects you can adjust” is actually really two and neither sounds realistic nor can you actually adjust them other than volume. I can’t use it for the project I got it for. It does hook up to a computer or phone, but it’s not worth it and you mostly figure it out on your own and you do have to charge it for about six hours before using it, they do let you know that.

Not worth it!
At first it was ok. Instructions for set up were non existent but I figured ok, youtube ended up helping me out with that. Volume on the microphone is extremely low even on the highest level. Sound card stopped working in its third use. This product is cheap for a reason..no quality.

Did not meet my expectations at all.
this product is made by several different companies. same exact model different moldings. this particular model was poorly made in its circuitry. even with noise filters always a hum in the background.

Terrible missing stuff will not stand up straight
While reading some reviews, I’m like I’m going to get it it was terrible. The microphone didn’t stand up straight missing pieces never worked. It was horrible and there was more 3 of my friends decided to get it it had the same problem and the microphone bad then and then my dad wanted to buy it to see how it works It’s still didn’t work I’m giving this a one star. and I texted them a long time ago but they never replied, and they only replied when I put a bad review and now they’re not replying again it’s been like three months, so if it’s bad and you want to reply to them they are not gonna text you until you put a bad review so and when they do reply and you reply, they won’t reply again

Simply does not work, charging port broke
This product is a pile of garbage.Charging for two days did not charge up the device – charging was intermittent at best and the device never held a charge. When attempting to remove the charger, the charging port actually pulled out of the device, stuck to the charging cable. While plugged in, the device generated a frequency hum which ruined all recordings. When unplugged, even after being charged, the device did not send a signal to any plugged in devices (computer or cell phone).Do not buy this. It was a complete and total waste of money.

Can’t Get Mic To Record
I’m not sure if I got faulty equipment or what. It took me a long time to get around to using this equipment. I can’t get any proper volume out of the mic. The sound card doesn’t seem to fully function. I don’t have an analog input. I attached it to the sound card and put that through my laptop, and when I try to record into Audacity I get nothing. Does anyone have suggestions or do I have faulty equipment? Help? Would like to change my rating if I’m using it wrong.

Not even worth it. Literally does not turn on.
Really, really tried with this. The instructions tell you to charge it to full charge. But it doesn’t tell you to charge while using. It just doesn’t work. Tried multiple times. Super bummed. I read the reviews and still purchased. Don’t do it. Just DON’T DO IT.

When I first opened it, i plugged everything in and attempted to turn it on. I did everything I could to try to turn it on, but nothing worked. When I went to Amazon Customer Service, theh told me to contact the manufacturer. I tried searching up the manufacturer, BUT THERE WASNT ONE. This is an awful product, especially the customer service.

Good value for money
I used it for recording vocals in music, I used to done it by my headphones, but they have a lot of background noises, this entire set up makes my work more professional, but also reasonably cheap. Good sound quality, therefore good value for money. Love bundles, just give u every thing u need in one box.

Product is broken and box was damaged
First thing is the box was damaged when I retrieved it from my porch, secondly I Plug in the mic and it’s defective and it pitches unplugged it and tried to see if it was the settings and it wasn’t but second time plugging in the mic it just doesn’t work at all now… very disappointed especially when my cousin does music and it was supposed to be his Christmas gift! I want a refund or a new mic sent to us! Very frustrating start before Christmas.

Broken and useless
This mic just has a static sound when you plug it in and the sound card doesn’t even have the voice changer on it! It didn’t work and I sent it back. Waste of money

Waste of money
The V8 is very low end and all it serves is too frustrate the user. The BM-800 mic needs to be powered with phantom power or a board that has a quality pre-amp in order to function properly. The V8 does not have a pre-amp or if it does it is very under performing. Going to attempt to get a refund if I can find the box for the kit.
