    Consumer Reports #1 rated air fryer. After 4 uses, I agree. Easy to use, clean up is a snap. Still trying to adjust to not having to deal with the oil. Food comes out crispy if you do it right!

    Buyer beware

    Be careful where you purchase this from or Gourmia will not honor the 1 year warranty. I bought one on Amazon from a 3rd party seller, and it died after just 5 months of use. When I reached out to Gourmia customer service, they were of absolutely no help at all. They refused to help because it was from an unauthorized seller. I was very unpleasantly surprised as I’ve never had issues with products purchased on Amazon before. The air fryer worked well… Until it didn’t, and because of this poor experience I will not be buying another Gourmia product.

    Quiet Air Fryer

    I had heard the greatest knock on air fryers were how much noise they make. I’ve only used it several times and its my first experience with air frying, but so far it seems to work well and is very quiet.

    It is NOT a FRYER. It is actually a miniature convection oven: roasts, bakes, etc.— but takes less time because it takes less time to preheat. (plus looks great on my countertop)Since I can use parchment paper & foil in it, the cleanup is very easy.I actually tossed a smaller air fryer that I rarely used because it didn’t cook foods correctly. This one is fantastic!

    The product is easy to clean and use, and the chicken we’ve cooked tastes good. The instructions could have been more detailed. The size is good although it’s actually 7 quarts instead of 6, according to the instructions.

    Got this as a Christmas gift for my daughter.

    My daughter really likes this air fryer, she has only used it a couple of times and said it worked well. I chose this one as it is very similar to the one I have and I like it for a lot of different uses. I have found it works well for reheating fried food.

    Discouraged but I’ll try again

    I wanted to love this air fryer. I had a used one given to me but it wouldn’t work because something was misaligned in the latch. I bought a new one on the recommendation of a friend. I loved the look of it and how easy the basket went in. For my first use, I followed the recipe in the booklet for chicken wings and they burned to a crisp. Will try again but will lower the temp/shorten the cook time and hope I don’t get food poisoning.

    As advertised, I would recommend it.

    We’ve only used it once so far. The chicken breasts were moist and delicious! I placed foil under the unit to protect the countertop “just in case”. I don’t feel I’ll need to do that again though because the heat seems well contained. The food drawer is quite large, it fit 2 large chicken breasts easily.

    Really cooks better than I thought it would, I am always trying out different things in it. I am surprised at how good something simple like plain, raw fish turned out in the air fryer. (Unfortunately in May 2022 one of the prongs on the plug broke off. Nice quality!!).

    Wonderful small kitchen appliance

    I wasn’t sure what I would cook in the air fryer when I ordered it. I’ve had it for about 10 days so far and each time after I use and clean it, I put it away in the cabinet only to get it out again later. In other words, I can’t get enough of this fabulous appliance. So far I have cooked chicken wings, halibut filets, tofu cubes, mixed veggies, chicken breasts, salmon filets, meatballs and bacon. Everything turned out perfectly except the salmon because I added an extra 2 minutes to the cooking time. My error. But it was still very edible. I would recommend an air fryer to anyone who likes to cook but doesn’t want a big mess to clean up. The bacon was especially delightful because there was no grease splatter and very little bacon smell which is okay but I don’t like the odor lingering in my house. The display is easy to read and it has actual words in addition to pictures of various foods. I’m quite happy with my experience and am glad I purchased this air fryer.

    I am very pleased with this fryer. It has settings that light up on the fryer and comes with an extra wire rack. ALso so helpful, there is a small cookbook that gives details on cooking a variety of foods. No more checking the internet! The cleanup is so easy compared to cleaning a grill.. I did return this one to Amazon as a day or so after it was delivered as I found the same model at Costco for half the price.It does eat up a lot of counter space but I am happy to have it and avoid lighting the oven to cook small portions of food.

    Good appliance and well priced

    I didn’t even know that I needed this, but am delighted with my purchase. I live in a cold part of the country and don’t want to stand on the deck to use our gas grill. Using the big convection oven and broiler requires a lot of clean-up, and frying steak and burgers in a pan is an even bigger mess.The Gourmia fryer produced nicely browned meat and clean-up was a snap. When it arrived, I cooked two loads of bacon out on the deck. It was a dry and sunny day. There was no annoying plastic smell then, nor was there any when I cooked the burgers and steak. I would recommend this item.

    Easy to use

    I have one and sent one to my granddaughter because I knew she’d love it too. There was a big snafu with the shipment. My money was instantly refunded and I told them I wanted to purchase another one and send it to the same address. I keep looking to be billed. Imagine my surprise when my granddaughter called and thanked me for her air fryer. I called to let them know I had not been billed for it, but that my granddaughter had received it. I was told the company was not going to bill me to compensate me for my inconvenience on the initial order. I mean who does that??? So, not only is this a good product, the company has great customer service. They went over and above to do the right thing. I highly recommend this product and company.

    The fryer arrived a day earlier than expected. Everything was well packed and easy to assemble. A written manual and recipe book were included. The first two things we cooked weren’t as good as we hoped, but after that we have been very happy with everything. It is easy to clean, although a little harder if you don’t get the required spray oil everywhere inside. Overall, it is a good addition to our kitchen and makes meal prep a bit quicker.

    Speeds cooking time and simple cleanup. Large capacity in a relatively small footprint. The recipe book that comes with the air fryer is a little strange, but there are dozens of air fryer cookbooks on the market — you can certainly find one that meets your tastes.

    smells awful

    I have used this appliance for a week now.. Cooked in it about 8-10 times. It still have a faint plastic smell today. The first few times I had to use a large fan to blow the burning plastic smell out of the house. I didn’t even put food in for the first 4-5 times I heated it up. Finally, I cooked some veggies, when the smell was better, but they tasted like plastic. Am I going to die? I kept trying it and I toasted some nuts and those didn’t taste like plastic. I will continue to use it. But be prepared for the smell. It is very strong and lasts quite a while
