Volume button is really just an on/off switch
My 2yr old twin girls really like their keyboard! The mat is soft and very flexible and brightly colored. The animal sounds don’t exactly sound like that animal – for example, the rooster sounds like a chicken and the frog sounds like a pig. There is also a song mode where each key plays a different song. The keyboard folds easily and I store it in the bag it came in. One negative is that my girls easily fold this up so it just makes a bunch of noise, different songs and animal sounds mixed together. Also the volume button doesn’t really work, it’s just the on/off button. Plus my girls have learned to work it because it takes no force to move it so even IF there was a good volume control they would be able to change it whenever. But overall a fun toy.

Gift for 16 month old grandson who seemed to enjoy it among his other gifted toys but I think the adults liked playing w/ it more. Great that the battery cover is screwed down so little ones can’t get to them. Installed tunes are cute. Individual keys w/in range so adults could play simple tunes. Animal sounds realistic. Flash cards interesting. Mat cleans easily. Not slippery when stepped on.

Great toddler gift
Bought this for my 2 year old for Christmas and she absolutely loves it. The volume control is a great option. Most toddler toys are so loud but I love that this item can be turned at several volume levels.

The volume cycles itself back up and down without staying where it was controlled to- and the on/off switch doesn’t work at all – it’s literally impossible to turn off without taking out the batteries. Kind of a disappointment

Got good grandma points with this one.
Great toy. My grandson loved it. Works well and has a volume control. It doesn’t come with batteries nor does the packaging say it needs them, but it does.

Our baby boy loves this music mat it’s very interactive and fun, and also teaches him about animals and their sounds. Fun for all ages!

Absolutely adorable
It was our grandsons favorite from the toys we got him. It is easy to use. He loved the sounds, he was dancing on it, repeating the sounds, etc. you can roll it up and put it in a diaper bag and use it anywhere to entertain little ones.
