Too Hard for pickup games
I like the ball for practice but it’s just too hard to play in. Does not bounce well on indoor floors and bounces too hard outside courts. The bounces off the rim too damn much.

A little expensive but the ball is well worth it. When I run games at the park, I usually use mines and I get no complaints about it being too bouncy or having no grip. Btw, I bought the indoor/outdoor version for anyone wondering.

I purchased this to use outdoor and based on the choices for a 30-50 dollar range ball, this seemed to be the best or the one with most consistent reviews. Upon receipt, everything looked good. Grip is pretty solid, but it does get a bit slick when you start sweating. Not a big deal though as this is to be expected, especially with a newer ball. Usually when you break them in, that gets better. My biggest complaint is that from day 1, I have had to fill this with air every time i use it. In some cases i have used multiple days in the same week and it always goes low within 24-48 hours. Not completely flat, but enough that you would need to add air. The return window was closed when i checked as I didnt use it straight away when it was received. My advice would be to use it immediately and keep an eye on it. Otherwise, you better have a pump handy if you are leaving it in your car or something.

…these PEOPLE sent me an incorrect ball (Signature Series) AGAIN!!!
Okay. Okay. This is a bit odd, but I just had to change my star rating from 3 to 1… only because 1 is the lowest option I could choose. This has nothing to do with the basketball(s), but the sender/seller. Per my original review, the ball was alright… but just alright. So. I purchased the Authentic Series in August and received a Signature Series, aka, not the one I ordered, aka, the wrong ball. I had no idea until I purchased a second ball which I stored in my gym bag. I went to play ball last weekend and noticed that there was a (ahem…) bit of a difference (see attached images). I says ‘okay’. The new ball (the right ball) is better and gets 3-4 stars, I guess. Only time will tell. But back to my frustrations with this wrong ball. I’m sure the return window is closed, but I refused to settle. I initiated a return over the phone with Amazon and ordered a THIRD ball, in hopes that I’d get the correct one. Well. Ahem. The third time was not a charm. =/ I should’ve used my brain and went elsewhere because these PEOPLE sent me an incorrect ball (Signature Series) AGAIN!!! WTH???!!! I JUST WANNA PLAY, MAN… BASKETBALL!!! My original review is listed below…’It’s difficult to find a decent basketball, but this one is just okay for outdoor use. It’s usability depends so much on so many daggone FACTORS, man! Gosh! Let it be a little cold out, or get a little dust/sand on it (on or off the court), or even some God-given water, and it renders the ball f****** useless! But we don’t all have access to indoor courts. Overall, it’s a nice ball. The weight is evenly distributed and the grip is 3 out of 5. The main reason I ended up giving the ball a 3 is because the grip isn’t the best. You could get better (but unfortunately, more aggressive) grip from those $10 Wal-Mart balls that jam the crap out of your finger if you don’t catch them right! LOL!!! XD Value for the money is just okay. The first one I ordered came in it’s box. The second one came in a translucent garbage bag… either the original box was damaged during transport, or someone took it out to play a quick game and just put it where they feel it belongs… in a bag destined for the garbage? I don’t know. Overall, it’s a good ball, but I feel it could be better indoors… as long as sand/dust/water doesn’t get to it first! Hope this helps and enjoy your purchase!’As of today, I’ve walked into UPS on two occasions because last Saturday, I was informed by an agent (customer service) to just walk in and UPS will package the ball, label and ship it. I got there and wound up calling family members that lived nearby for a box, and walking into a grocery store for a box… it was such a crazy experience. Fine Print stated ‘Customer Packed’. Guess I’ll be looking at that from now on, too. I couldn’t find a box until this week, by the way! I refused to pay UPS $5!!! LOL!!! XDWell, I did get a full refund for the mistake. I DEFINITELY initiated a return for yesterdays ball (the one still in the blue box). I spoke to an agent this afternoon to refund the restocking fee from the first ball and notified her of the situation. She mentioned that they’re going to initiate an investigation into my receiving the wrong ball… twice. Good Lord, man. Okay. I’ll just take up volleyball or pimping because there’s no future in receiving the wrong items. I’ve been made aware to beware third party sellers, too. Man. Okay. Purchased this for my son’s basketball practices. It is a great ball. My son is all about his dribbling skill and this ball gives him great control even while new. It has become better each day. We strictly use this ball indoors only so I am confident it will hold up great and only increase his confidence in his ball handling skills. Definitely worth the extra few bucks.
