Easy set up and easy to use
This was super easy to set up. I opened it, plugged it in and within 10 minutes was working. The only difference is the mouse pad is shifted a little to the left so if u use other computers and switch back it takes your brain a minute to get use to that. The screen quality is fantastic. Uploading and downloading is fast and simple. I would def Recommend this to anyone

Great for the price. The battery life is not good and the screen quality is lacking. But everything else works fine. I don’t use the touch screen much and I never use the computer for gaming. I needed it to run a program that doesn’t work on my Mac.

Freezes constantly. Support couldn’t help. Ony 5 days past Amazon return policy.
Needed a new small business computer and this had great reviews. I have had it less than 45 days and it freezes up. 2 hours with support and now waiting for a factory reset. Can’t return to Amazon because the window is past by 5 days. Will have to return to Lenovo if the factory reset doesn’t work. None of my previous laptops had this problem.

Do more investigating before you buy.
The one thing I ran into was trying to download McAfee and finding out that Microsoft was in or has S2 and would not let me download it without having Microsoft take S2 off. What ever that means. I am not a computer nerd and have spend hours on the phone with both companies trying to resolve this issue. My old computer is the same brand and I had McAfee on it with Microsoft, but did not know when I bought this one that it had Windows 11.

Fellow AMAZON Customers,I’m taking a chance on this nice LENOVO 2022 8GB Lap Top PC .. .. Its seem to have gotten good reviews across the board, and the PRICE of $375.00 vs the asking price of $949.00 (not sure if that’s a made up price )was hard to resist .. .. Instructions came as to how to get it out of S Mode .. .. I was pleased that it came with Windows 11 Home Edition, and NOT Windows 10 like some of you said .. .. Got a nice carrying case, as this lap top is heavy. .. .. .. I Would Have Liked It to have a Lighted Keyboard .. .. But, for my needs, its OK .. ..

Good Performance for the Price
Runs Minecraft smooth enough and the display is good enough for a digital screen and the keyboard feels cheap and clunky at first compared to my old laptop, but that one was more expensive. It runs rather smooth after all updates and so far no problems with it. The audio quality is alright too, nothing fancy, but very responsive computer and not slow at all. I was a bit mad the keyboard does not light-up but for such a low price it is great.

Good, but…
The first thing I noticed is that the color was wrong. But the box said it was the right color so it must have been boxed wrong at the factory. Second thing is that it came with windows mode s. Which means I couldn’t download apps that they didn’t approve. Like YouTube. But they highly suggested ticktock which we are hearing is insecure. So, I had to get it out of s mode before I could get the apps I bought it for. Worked out in the end. I’ll keep it.

Decent laptop
This is a good laptop for the price. I love the keyboard (more slightly raised) and it runs efficiently. The only downside I notice is the screen display quality which is fair but not high definition.

My laptop from 2014 was on its last leg, so it was definitely time for this new one. I’m very pleased with this straightforward, classy laptop and would recommend it (but not for gaming, etc.) The battery life is decent.

Great value for the price!
I got this when they were having a sale. Paid less than $400. Perfect for everything I need to do. Screen is very responsive to touch. Keys are soft and don’t feel cheap. The laptop itself doesn’t feel cheap. Battery life is fine. I can sit and do what I need to do for a few hours and still have almost 80% battery life even while using multiple tabs and watching YouTube videos. Screen quality is not like a high end laptop but it’s decent for what you pay.

Functional budget computer
This computer was bought mostly for surfing, email, and occasional document creation. I don’t need a lot of power or speed. I did buy from a private seller that required shipping. All in with taxes and shipping, it cost me $409.14. I have no idea if that is a good deal but it was fair in my estimation. The price has hovered in that range since April 2022. Sometimes a bit higher and other times a bit lower. In limited use for the last week, it seems okay.

This computer has the S mode on it. It didn’t state that on Amazon.
I have tried to remove S mode for a week now. The computer will not remove it. I have had Microsoft on the phone for 2 hours. It won’t work for them either. S mode should be an option not already installed.

Effective laptop for most basic users
Use this laptop for home primarily for email, internet, zoom and it is more than adequate. Easy set up. speed is very good. We wish the screen was sharper and brighter but overall not bad. Considering a very fair price this is a very good laptop.

Sluggish and Probably Not Brand New, Wrong Size Advertised
I received what felt and worked like a flimsy laptop, though for the price, I shouldn’t have expected more. The laptop I received is 14 inches while it is advertised as 15.6 inches, which is a big deal for those of us who have vision issues.When I registered the laptop with Lenovo, I was informed that the 1-year warranty began in September, 2022, though I purchased the laptop and received it in late February, 2023, nearly five months later. I was able to get the warranty backdated, but that was a red flag.The processing is lousy and the computer makes a loud swishing noise while it’s processing which is not normal for a “new” computer. This model’s processing capacity is not fast as I’ve come to expect from Lenovo laptops. I don’t know if it’s just the laptop I received or the case for this model, and I would barely give it a fair rating. Needless to say, I am returning it and buying an HP.

I think this laptop is a good bang for your buck. Not really impressed by the graphics, they look dull and not vivid. However it runs fast so far. I’ll be using it for college. The battery lasts a decent while. It did come in S mode, but that was easy to get rid of.

Great speed. Quick start and fast loading. Easy to use out of the box. Unfortunately the touch screen required a lot of tweaking to get a decent picture quality. My device clearly showed signs of heavy use of the touch screen out of the box and it was not advertised as “refurbished”. My last laptop was in use for five years and showed little sign of use even after five years of use so something is not right.

Love it.
It is my first time with brand and I love it. The packaging and setup was easy and painless. One thing that surprised me was programs are a thing of the pass and windows run apps from the Microsoft App Store. Despite this it works flawlessly. It starts up fast and shuts down easy, the sleep mode and wake up works great. I use this for my office so no suggestion on how it works for gaming. Way worth it.

First Impressions
Bought pretty much on impulse. Needed a basic laptop as the Acer Spin5 I use has a power connection glitch. This machine did come with Windows 11 installed, but I just finished going through all the updates (about 6 or so) to get to the latest version of Windows 11, and it runs ok. Also went through a dozen driver updates and everything works ok. I was concerned about 8 megs of RAM being enough for the software I use, and it’s not, apparently, as that software runs but crashes after a while. Also, 256 GB of ssd storage is not enough. However, both those things are pretty easy to upgrade. Screen optical quality is very lackluster & I have been trying to tweak that in Windows with not much luck. I like the touch screen, track pad, keyboard feel. I like the power connector, seems sturdy and that’s important to me, as I have regularly killed laptop power connections. All in all, a pretty good deal for $385 + tax.
